Homespun Dolls Welcome

Hello Welcome to HomespunDolls blog page. I am a self taught doll artist who creates fantasy art dolls. All of my little ones live and work in a little piece of my backyard called Elftown. During their creation they all have their own personal story that is told just for them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do making them.
You can follow me on Twitter @HomespunDolls and Facebook HomespunDolls.

A Cranky Jester & his Sceptor

I completed the Cranky Jester but he didnt seem complete. His poor face was frowning and he was trying to tell me he needed something. When I thought of course a Jester has to have a sceptor. As soon as this was finished I looked to the Jester and now there was just a hint of a smile.

Felix the Dancer & the Art show

Busy Busy thats what I have been :) I did a clay doll sculpting demonstration during the Rock N Roll festival here in town. We had a really good turn out and I met alot of very nice people. I sculpted 2 different doll heads but due to the rolling they did on the way home they were destroyed. I did sculpt a dancing goblin named Felix. I loved making his wrinkled face. Currently I am creating a cranky lil Jester, I have him complete and dressed. Now I am working on his sceptor to see if that will put a smile on that cranky face.
