Pippa the scientist and explorer

Finished Pippa this week. Pippa is sculpted from Prosculpt over a wire armature, she is gently posable. Pippa is 7 inches high, 9 inches to the top of her hat.

Pippa is a scientist for Elftown. She is always on the lookout for the unusual bug or animal or plant. She must hike through the dangerous woods and near the rushing stream on her hunts. Her job is very important, she helps find new medicines and foods for the towns elves. Pippa loves the outdoors and could not stand to be cooped up inside a stuffy tree all day.

Bren the elf a message taker-to-er art doll

In the town of Elftown there is a great need for message taker-to-ers. There are no phones small enough for the little elves to use. So if they must contact someone they must hire a message taker-to-er. Bren is one of the fastest and quickest of them. Bren is 8 years old but she knows her job is very important and she knows the messages are always always very important. She never dallies nor takes the long way, so she is the most sought after taker-to-er in the town.



Bren is sculpted from Prosculpt polymer clay. She is 7 1/2 inches high 9 1/2 to the top of her hat.

Edman the clock worker

Ran into this old boy last night. My alarm clock went kaplooie and I thought I would have to buy a new one. Prill introduced me to the towns local clock worker Edman. Edman is a bit grouchy, but I think I would be too if I had to listen to clocks bonging the hour every hour all day. Especially since none of the clocks are set to the same time. But poor old Edman took care of my clock right quick and I was able to get up on time this morning. He agreed to pose for the pictures if I could bring him some more clock parts as soon as possible.

Edman is sculpted from polymer clay over a wire armature. He is 10 inches high. His clothing is adorned with vintage watch parts and his monacle is made from the the parts as well. His clock station is made from a vintage box and watch parts. He is gently posable.

Prill the elf scholar

Elf town is proud to admit that education is their younger generation is of upmost importance. They encourage the youngsters to read every chance they can.

Prill loves to read, her favorite stories are Human Tales, similar to fairy tales only on a much bigger scale. She carrys as many books as she can everywhere she goes on the chance that she might have time to read. Today I came across Prill in the woods perched on a old cowbell reading. She was so engrossed in her book it took her a moment to notice I was there. Such a sweet little elf she offered to loan me one of her books. But without my magnifying glass I had to refuse.

Prill is sculpted from polymer clay over a wire armature. She is wearing handmade clothing and a hat made from mulberry paper. She is holding a handmade book and has a basket of books and a small bottle of water

P.K. "Speedy" the elf and bike

P.K. who would prefer you call her "Speedy" is a delivery elf for the towns cake company. She is the fastest delivery elf in the entire town! She has a super speedy bike and cart and her super speedy cape. Today she is delivering a birthday cake to the towns Mayor, a very important job!

P.K. is sculpted from polymer clay over a wire armature. Sitting she is 7 inches high counting the puff of that hat, not the tip that hat is long! Her bike and cart are 9 1/2 inches long and 4 3/4 inches high at the handlebars. She is removable from the bike. The cake on the back of the bike is a wooden pill box and the top is removable.

Jasper the Candle Lighter

Finished this guy today. He was whispering in my ear the entire time I was working on Marta the cook. I stayed up until my eyes were crossing because he wanted to BE so badly, lol.

Jasper the Candle Lighter.

The Candle Lighter is a Super important job in the town of Elves. A small breeze and Puff out go all the candles. How on earth would the elves find their way in the dark. The candle lighter must be ready at all times to come to the rescue. When Jasper said he would like the job, I tried to tell him it would be a 24 hour job and that he would be very tired. But Jasper insisted he was the elf for it. Now look at poor tired Japer, here he is in his gown and robe with only his teddy to keep him company. Even during the night the Candle Lighter is on call.

Jasper is sculpted from polymer clay over a wire armature, soft body over wire gently posable. Handmade clothing, shoes hat. his teddy is needle felted from wool and so is the flame on his match. The candle is sculpted from transluscent Fimo onto a vintage industrial boobin perched ontop of a old tart tin. Jasper is 10 inches high and his candle is 10 1/4.

Finity the Un-Locker

Finished this art doll this weekend. I loved using the bright colors for her and her hair. Her name is Finity and she is the Un-Locker in the elf community. If you lose your keys and cant get in Finity is who you call.

She is 12 1/4 inches high from the soles of her boots to the tip-top of her pointy elf hat. She is carrying her baby brother since Un-Locker training starts very early. She is also pulling a cart of her un-locking tools. Skeleton keys, string to climb, scroll of house numbers and a pint can opener for those hard to get into homes.
